Abode Designs is a British-led, design-focused home and lifestyle brand offering a wide portfolio of taps, sinks, accessories, spares, and installation services. With multiple sub-brands operating across the kitchen and bathroom sector, the business required a simplified, future-proof digital ecosystem that could support long-term growth.
Building on the success of the original consolidation project (Phase 1), IDS Logic extended its partnership with Abode Designs to bring Pronteau - its specialist hot-water and filtered tap range, and ProBoil - its support, spares, and technical content hub, into a single Adobe Commerce (Magento) estate. This phase unified all customer journeys under one experience-led platform, replacing fragmented brand sites with a coherent and scalable digital presence.
The enhanced platform is powered by centralised PIM and CRM systems, enabling consistent product data, richer content experiences, and greater operational efficiency. With all brands now managed within a unified Adobe Commerce instance, Abode Designs benefits from faster editorial control, stronger product discovery, and a solid foundation for new commercial services including subscriptions, installation bookings, and extended warranties.
Abode Designs needed to consolidate multiple brand estates into a single, scalable Adobe Commerce platform. The goal for Phase 2 was to bring the Pronteau and ProBoil websites into the primary Abode Designs site, creating one coherent customer journey across standard taps, multifunction taps and support-based content such as spares, installation guides and technical documentation.
The legacy proprietary platform limited extensibility, prevented meaningful editorial control and created operational overhead. Maintaining separate sites resulted in duplicated work, fragmented product data and disconnected customer records. ProBoil also held a significant volume of rich technical content - manuals, videos, spec sheets, that needed to be surfaced at product level within the new combined site.
Abode required a future-proof digital estate where product data could be published automatically from PIM, updated in batches and managed centrally, removing the manual workflows that previously relied on recreating information inside the CMS. They also wanted to introduce new commercial models, including filter subscriptions, installation services and extended warranty flows, all supported by a single, powerful Adobe Commerce instance with improved editorial control via Page Builder.
