The Brief

Pebble Grey is a leading online retailer of luxury bathroom products. To support growth, Pebble Grey commissioned IDS Logic for our specialist expertise in ecommerce and back office integration to replace the legacy ecommerce web platform with a scalable Magento 2.0 ecommerce solution.

Working with a set of complex technical requirements underpinning a sophisticated order processing and distribution model, IDS Logic designed and developed the web system architecture to support Pebble Grey’s further growth.

Our Approach

IDS Logic engaged Pebble Grey’s stakeholders from marketing, sales, operations, distribution and finance functions to establish a cohesive set of project requirements that could be delivered cost efficiently and within an ambitious project timescale. Working with a creative design supplied by Pebble Grey, we applied and customised the powerful ecommerce features of the Magento platform and extended these with custom code to deliver an ecommerce operating model that can scale as order volumes continue to grow, fully integrated with Amazon and eBay.

The Outcomes

The new website manages a significantly expanded inventory of products, served from different suppliers, and provides an online hub to manage these across digital channels including Amazon and eBay stores.

Seamless back office integration has positively impacted order processing and fulfillment functions. Most importantly, the website has been optimised to maximise sales revenue with vastly improved user journeys. There has been a significant uplift in online revenue since the new website launched.
